Meet the Kids Rock Team
Kids Rock team members all started as volunteers. Kids Rock is now raising funds to release some team members on staff. Team members help with multiple activities, while being parents, working full time and / or going to school. Over the past few years while serving kids and teens together we have become the best of friends. What unites us is our commitment to Christ, a love for kids and a desire to change their world one kid at a time. Working together the Kids Rock team is helping many individuals to"Step Up to a Brighter Tomorrow - Today." Please take a minute to get to know us.
Greg & Catherine Weis
Greg & Catherine started a campus ministry at Bowling Green State University in 1979 while in graduate school. Greg received his Masters degree in History & Catherine in Economics. They married in 1982. In 1984 they began to expand to other campuses. They started 6 campus ministries & 3 churches. In 1991 they left church planting to focus on raising their 4 children. From 1995 to 1999 Greg coached an inner-city baseball team for ages 5 to 8, which won several championships. More importantly, God began to break his heart over the problems that urban youth face. Kids Rock House was born out of that God given compassion. Greg & Catherine decided to apply their years of experience in evangelism, mentoring & discipling leaders to helping urban youth develop the characteristics necessary to break out of "the permanent culture of inner-city poverty." Today, Greg & Catherine are grateful for their greatest blessing. All four of their children and their son-in-law are very active in Kids Rock. It is a daily joy to serve Christ with Jason, Carla, John, Victor & Liz.

Training / TLT: Team Leaders in Training
Kids Rock is committed to producing young Christian leaders. In order to grow the number of young people the ministry is serving without losing the element of personal mentoring, we are working constantly on training and developing qualified leaders. The Kids Rock Leadership Training Program combines several emphasis including: cultivating Christian character, Biblical studies, spiritual anointing, accountability, practical wisdom, fostering gifts and talents, multiplying mentors and a lifestyle of service. Currently, eight growing Christians ranging from 16 to 26 years old are enrolled in TLT: Team Leaders in Training.
